About Westlon Housing Association
As one of a few smaller associations, Westlon are dedicated to providing innovative schemes to help older people in need of housing with the attention to detail that a smaller organisation can offer.
We are proud that despite being a small housing association, we are committed to developing more specialist homes for older people. This is because we recognise the need for more specialist accommodation and are devoted to providing the homes and support that people require.
Our Board is particularly proud of the excellent relationships we have built with our tenants, which is reflected in our high tenant satisfaction levels. We also have excellent relationships with our partner organisations which we continue to extend and strengthen to meet the needs of our tenants.
We recognise that for many people there is not the appropriate local housing to them. Westlon intends to make the difference, turning need into provision for communities across London.
Partnerships with other agencies
We could not deliver all of our services alone. We partner with many other organisations to ensure that our tenants get the help that they need. This includes working closely with support providers, local authorities, social services teams, alongside specialist voluntary organisations and charities.
The subsequent relationships established with a variety of local authorities means that partnerships with Westlon prove attractive to both regional and national organisations.

Finance and development
We have an in house development team and a wide range of specialist consultants who help us deliver all of our schemes. Cyclical maintenance, major repairs & planned maintenance are delivered by our specialist team with reliable local contractors providing a response 24 hours per day, 365 days a year.
Financing of new schemes is achieved by a combination of grant funding, private finance and the use of our own capital resources. We have access to charitable donation finance to support schemes which would be unaffordable by other methods.
We are committed to providing affordable rents and service charges for our tenants to give everyone the best possible chance to live independently and feel safe and secure in their own home.
